1 February 2026 को Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman Union Budget 2026–27 पेश करेंगी और इस बार Budget से उम्मीदें काफी ऊंची हैं। Global geopolitical tensions, slow growth और market volatility के बीच सरकार की सबसे बड़ी चुनौती growth को support करते हुए fiscal discipline बनाए रखना है। FY26 में India की economy करीब 7.4% growth दिखा सकती है, जिसे infra spending, services exports और private investment का support मिलेगा। Consumption में हल्की सुस्ती और global risks चिंता बने हुए हैं। Budget 2026 का focus Capital Expenditure पर रहने की उम्मीद है, जहां infra spending 12–13 lakh crore रुपये तक जा सकती है, जिसमें roads, railways, defence, renewable energy और urban infrastructure शामिल होंगे। Fiscal deficit को FY27 में 4.2–4.4% के दायरे में रखने की कोशिश हो सकती है। Rural demand, jobs और skill development के लिए targeted schemes, market reforms, ease of doing business, digital systems, asset monetisation और RBI dividend से resources जुटाने पर भी जोर रह सकता है।
